Fruit Marketing was created over coffee and fruit tea (naturally) in Devon in summer 2019.
Four senior marketing professionals with a track record of success nationally and internationally came together with
a vision to deliver strategic solutions for businesses of all sizes, but with a smile.

Jo Wood

Jo has worked as a national lead for some of the UK’s most iconic food and drink brands, creating and implementing impactful sales and marketing strategies. More recently, she has applied her significant and broad skills to deliver sustainable growth and successful campaigns for SME’s across the South West. Community spirited, fun loving fitness fanatic, Jo is most at home jumping waves with the kids or ankle deep in mud running around with her faithful collie.  Jo’s energy and passion for a good cause and the fight for the underdog is contagious.

Rachel McClure

Rachel has over 20 years’ experience across all marketing channels, from events and advertising, to data, websites and social media, via publishing and sponsorship. She loves numbers!  She’s our in-house data analyst, budget controller and reporting expert.  She is a backpacking foodie at heart and has travelled extensively in Thailand, India and Indonesia to feed her hunger for an adventurous and spicy life. But she also has a weakness for the humble Devon Cream Tea. Rachel has always had a spring in her step; a trampoline champion in her youth, she once leapt on stage to kiss INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence.

Liz Ruffles

As a highly experienced marketing professional, Liz has worked with a wide variety of nationally renowned brands across multiple sectors. After training as a graphic designer, she quickly switched to marketing combining her keen eye for creative with her naturally inquisitive and analytical mindset. Liz now specialises in developing consumer focussed, revenue generating strategies with a strong focus on digital implementation across web, SEO, PPC, digital advertising, social media and data marketing. With two kids to run around after and the great outdoors on her doorstep, Liz is rarely sat still. Running, hiking, netball, cycling, gardening, swimming, kayaking … as long as it’s outdoors and active – she’s in!
