Founded over 50 years ago this year, Gymboree Play & Music are the global leaders in early childhood development programmes.  Their award-winning classes take little ones from Babies, through Crawlers and Walkers, to Runners and Explorers, at their own pace.  They utilise a unique and impressive combination of music, movement, props, imaginary play and custom-designed and patented apparatus, all to create a fun and magical world where children learn, thrive and most importantly have fun.  They’re a global franchised business with centres all over the world.

Our Work

We have been embedded within the UK Head Office team at Gymboree Play & Music since we started Fruit in 2019.  As their inhouse Head of Marketing & Technology, we lead their strategic marketing management. We deliver various projects across all marketing and infrastructure functions.

With our eyes on their marketing infrastructure, we oversaw the selection and roll out of a new CRM system. This improved reporting, management information, and business efficiencies.  We also improved the Gymboree Play & Music social media landscape by setting up and connecting a master Meta Business Portfolio with all associated assets.  This has provided improved reporting, ensured on-brand messaging across the network, and given the franchisor the comfort of brand security.

As Reviews.io Partners, we’ve been able to implement their platform collecting both company and product reviews, delivering Google Seller Ratings on their Google Ads, as well as Google Rich Snippets on organic search results.

We project managed a new website gymbo.co.uk in 2021 which delivered realtime integration with the new CRM, as well as Reviews.io snippets, and saw a dramatic increase in conversion rate from 7% to 10%.

On a week by week basis we manage marketing collateral, design and deliver advertising campaigns, improve the website, and report on results.
